New York – Silestone hosted the first of three engaging Trendspotter presentations at Hearst Tower on June 13, 2012 with John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon. This is the renowned duo behind Brooklyn-based design firm, Madcap Cottage.
Known for their cleverly colorful design aesthetic, Jason and John highlighted the latest product innovations and trends from the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show to a crowd of more than 75 design professionals and editors. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and networking with incredible views overlooking Central Park from Hearst Tower’s 44th floor.
Silestone launched the inaugural Trendspotters program this year at KBIS in Chicago, by bringing together four leading designers from across the country to discover the latest products, design innovation and color trends. Together, the Silestone Trendspotters utilized 45 years of collective experience and a keen eye for great design to report on new products in real‐time via social media. The designers then shared their favorite design highlights to colleagues in their respective markets
Atlanta-area Trendspotter Mark Williams, Mark Williams Design Associates, brought his snapshots from KBIS to life in an engaging presentation to the Atlanta design community on June 14, 2012. Los Angeles-area Trendspotter Kim Lewis, Kim Lewis Designs, also offered her highlights from the KBIS to architects and designers at the Anaheim Cosentino Center on June 20, 2012.
