Cambria Expands Production Plant9/4/2012 12:26:13 PM | | Article by | Le Sueur, Minn. – Cambria announces an expansion of its Le Sueur, Minn. production plant. The expansion will more than double the size and production capacity of Cambria and accommodate popular worldwide demand for its designs. When complete in the spring of 2013, the expanded Cambria plant will total 750,000 sq. ft. and employ an additional 220 employees.
“This is Cambria’s second plant expansion in six years.” says Marty Davis, president and CEO. “We are fortunate to have a product that consumers desire and this expansion demonstrates our long-term commitment to creating unique designs and establishing a strong quality supply channel for our valued partners.”
According to The Freedonia Group, an independent company researching the home improvement category, quartz products will continue to grow at more than twice the rate of all other stone surfaces. Cambria’s expansion will allow the company to continue its aggressive growth strategy, meet increasing consumer demands and continue to broaden its worldwide offering. | | | |
